Rules of service, responsibilities of the parties, and limitations of liability for RugerHMI industrial hardware.
RugerHMI (operated by Englishmediatablet) supplies ruggedized HMI terminals, portable armored terminals, and industrial control panels designed for hostile manufacturing environments. The equipment includes impact-resistant displays, abrasive dust protection, and electromagnetic interference shielding. All units are intended for B2B industrial automation, SCADA supervision, and field data acquisition.
This agreement governs the use of the RugerHMI website, product documentation, and any associated software or firmware provided for configuration and monitoring of the hardware.
RugerHMI obligations: We commit to delivering products that meet the specifications published on the product pages at the time of order. Each unit is tested for IP rating, impact resistance, and EMI shielding before shipment. We provide technical documentation and support for integration with existing PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Customer obligations: The customer must ensure that the operating environment (temperature range, chemical exposure, electrical conditions) falls within the limits stated in the product datasheet. The customer is responsible for proper installation, grounding, and compliance with local safety regulations. Any modification to the hardware or software without written authorization voids the warranty.
RugerHMI shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the equipment, including but not limited to production downtime, data loss, or personal injury, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.
Our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price of that specific unit. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is made.
This agreement remains in effect as long as you access or use the RugerHMI website or services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately if you violate any term of this agreement, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to our systems or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access the website and any associated services ceases immediately. Sections 3 (Limitation of Liability), 5 (Governing Law), and 6 (Contact) shall survive termination.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City.
For customers outside Mexico, RugerHMI may choose to resolve disputes through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, with the seat of arbitration in Mexico City.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, legal requirements, or operational practices. The latest version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice on the website at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
